Innovative green products
Therefore, we continue to innovate and launch green products. In terms of raw materials, we began to use environmentally friendly materials and deal with the impact of the materials used on the environment. For example, the production of natural fibers, which is crucial to the production of our clothing, consumes a lot of resources, causes various environmental pollution, and has an impact on health. Therefore, we actively pursue the use of green alternative materials, such as organic cotton, recycled plant materials, and biodegradable materials to produce our clothing and footwear products. - Organic Cotton and Recycled Cotton Yarn Products
We offer products made from organic cotton and recycled cotton yarn to reduce the use of raw materials.
2. Recycled Cotton
We incorporate other recycled materials to minimize the need for virgin resources. Specifically, in our new shoe collections, we use PET materials that meet global recycling certification standards in various parts of the shoes, including the upper and laces.
3. Bio-based and Biodegradable Materials
We are constantly introducing new materials in our products, such as polylactic acid (PLA) derived from renewable resources like corn or sugarcane. We are also exploring other bio-based materials that can be used in our products. For example, in 2023, Xtep introduced coffee yarn in six of our shoe models. This innovative material combines coffee grounds with the yarn, improving drying time and providing additional odor-absorbing properties. It also conserves energy during production and reduces the environmental impact. Protecting the natural environment is our top priority.

Air Emissions
In our production processes, the use of boilers and other equipment inevitably leads to some air emissions. To address this, we have switched from diesel to cleaner natural gas as the fuel for our boilers, which helps reduce harmful emissions.
Use of Chemicals
As a responsible sportswear manufacturer, Xtep is dedicated to ensuring product safety and minimizing the use of harmful chemicals. We are continuously researching safer alternatives and working to reduce chemicals in our products. For example, our sub-brands in apparel production have increased the use of fluorine-free water repellents to 10%, with a target of reaching 40% by 2050. In our running shoes category, we have set a goal to have over 50% of our shoes produced using water-based adhesives, which are safer and have a lower environmental impact, while still maintaining high quality.
Packaging Materials
As a partner of Xtep in the UK, Jiuji follows the same commitment to sustainability. All of our shipping bags are made from 100% biodegradable materials.
